About the package
Mt. Manaslu trekking region was officially opened for trekking in 1991. The trekking area is named after Mt. Manaslu (8,156m) which is the eighth-highest peak in the world. The trek starts from Soti Khola. This trek is culturally fascinating and geographically spectacular. The inhabitants of the lower parts of the area are Gurungs, Magars, and Tamangs, and in the upper part of the Manaslu area are Bhotias, who migrated to Nepal from Tibet in the early 16th century. This trek offers many view ranges of the Annapurna Himalayas, Manaslu (8,163 m), Shringi Himal (7,187 m), and Ganesh Himal (7,406 m) which soars and spreads from east to west. The Himalayan views of the route are awesome and Larke La (5,100 m) is one of the most dramatic pass crossings within the great Himalayas. This route spreads across the Tibetan border and requires a special permit because of the restricted area.
