About the package

Salleri to Everest Trek is a relatively new route to urge into Everest that mixes natural and cultural wonders. The trek starts after a long drive to Salleri, a lower elevation, and gains elevation by gradually making it easier to acclimatize. Ranging from Salleri, the route passes through the Sherpa villages of the Solukhumbu, many of which have beautiful Buddhist monasteries. The villages of Sherpa and Rai provide a view into local lives and customs. Above Namche, the trek also gives an insight into the culture of the local Sherpa people. The scene of the sunrise on the snowcapped peaks above the Khumbu Glacier is an unforgettable sight from the summit of Kalapatthar. The Everest Base Camp trek requires fitness because it demands some challenging climbs on the trail. Our itinerary will help to make sure of preferred acclimatization before reaching Everest Base Camp. Tons of trails have well-graded paths. However, there are difficult sections along the Khumbu glacier where utmost care is required.

Frequently Asked Questions

The peak seasons for visiting Nepal are October-November and March-April. During these months, you'll experience clear skies, moderate temperatures, and excellent visibility of the mountains. October-November offers stable weather after the monsoon season, while March-April treats visitors to blooming rhododendrons in the hills. However, be aware that these are also the busiest periods, so we recommend booking your trek and accommodations well in advance.

Yes, most trekking areas require permits. For popular routes like the Annapurna Circuit or Everest Base Camp, you'll need both a TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System) card and specific regional permits. Our agency handles all permit arrangements for our clients, including the required documentation and fees. We also ensure your permits are obtained well before your arrival to avoid any last-minute complications.

We offer treks suitable for all fitness levels. For beginners, we recommend shorter treks like the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek (4-5 days) or the Nagarkot-Chisapani trek near Kathmandu. For experienced trekkers, we offer challenging routes like the Everest Base Camp trek or the Manaslu Circuit. We always assess our clients' fitness levels and previous trekking experience to recommend the most suitable routes and provide appropriate preparation guidance.

Kathmandu's main cultural highlights include the Durbar Squares of Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur, the Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa. We recommend at least 3-4 days to properly explore these UNESCO World Heritage sites. Our guided city tours include knowledgeable local guides who can explain the rich history and significance of each site, and we can customize itineraries based on your interests and available time.

In Kathmandu, we partner with hotels ranging from comfortable 3-star to luxury 5-star properties, all in convenient locations. During treks, accommodation varies by route and preference. Most trekking routes offer tea houses (mountain lodges) with basic but clean facilities. For more comfort, we also organize luxury lodge treks on certain routes. For remote treks, we can arrange fully-supported camping trips with our experienced staff handling all logistics, including meals and equipment.
