Tilak Rai is an experienced trekking and mount climbing guide in the Nepalese and Indian Himalayas since 2005. He has experience guiding large groups and individuals to Everest Base Camp, Everest Three Passes and Gokyo, Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, Dolpa, Upper Dolpa, Mustang, Upper Mustang, and Ladakh in India. Tilak also has experience climbing Island Peak, Mera Peak, Lobuche Peak, Nirekha Peak, and Pokolde Peak. Tilak can customize any trip to suit your trekking/climbing needs, such as climbing equipment, camping, porters, and assistant guides. Tilak grew up in Lukla, Nepal (the gateway to Everest), and has local knowledge of the area. He prides himself in introducing travelers to the world of the Himalayas as well as delving deeper into the mountains for experienced trekkers and climbers. He has been certified by the Government of Nepal Ministry of Tourism, Khumbu Climbing Centre, Nepal Mountaineering Instructors Association, and Wilderness Emergency Medicine Association.
