Lobuche East Peak consists of several small summits and therefore the true summit requires climbing steep snow and ice slopes to the highest from the summit ridge.
Lobuche peak lies on the brink of the Khumbu Glacier and its two main peaks, one is Lobuche Far East and another one is Lobuche East with an altitude of 6,145 meters but Lobuche East is 26 meters higher.
