Chitwan National Park (CNP) is Nepal’s first National Park established in 1973. Located in the Southern Central Terai of Nepal, it formerly extended over the foothills, the property covers an area of 952.63 km2 (367.81 sq mi), and extends over four districts: Chitwan, Nawalpur, Parsa, and Makwanpur. Chitwan National Park is a world heritage property. The Park also contains a Ramsar Site, the Beeshazari Tal in its buffer zone. The area is particularly rich in flora and fauna. The park is especially renowned for its protection of the last populations of One Horned Asiatic Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, and Gharial Crocodile.  Chitwan National Park consists of two main entrances Sauraha in the east and Meghauli Village in the west. Chitwan National Park is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal.

Chitwan National Park is a fascinating green land of Nepal best known for its wildlife safari, attracting tourists throughout the world. Chitwan National Park Tour starts with a scenic drive or flight from Kathmandu or Pokhara valley all the way to Chitwan. After arriving at Chitwan, you will be taken to the hotel. Then after taking some rest, our guide will be briefing about the tour. You will begin with a jungle safari tour to Chitwan national park and enjoy the encounter with vivid wildlife either in elephant back or jeep, whichever you prefer. During the jeep trip, you will sit in the back of an open jeep to see the animals. The jeep will stop to show places and animals. This Park offers a beautiful scenic view of sunrise and sunset from the bank of Narayani. We will be going on a canoe ride along the Rapti River. Bird watching is also popular in wildlife and jungle tours. There are a total of 544 species of birds recorded so far including 22 globally threatened species and critically endangered Bengal Florican, Slender-billed Vulture, White-rumped Vulture, and Red-headed Vulture. You will get to visit the Government Elephant Breeding Centre. Apart from natural scenery and wildlife, this region of Nepal is also famous for different ethnic culture and their hospitality.
