The Mundum Trail trekking route lies lower east of Solukhumbu valley suitable for those getting old, family, students, or on honeymoon holiday to understand about traditional culture and livelihood of the Kirat people. They still follow customs during birth, death, marriage, and other rituals.
The approach to Chakhewa trekking passes through many Kirat settlements like dhotre, Mayum, and Rawadhap, rivers, streams, chirping birds, deep green forest of pine and rhododendrons blooming in the spring season, and wild insects alongside a unique experience amidst hills and the delightful mountain of Kanchenjunga range.

Another major attraction of this route is Salpa Lake and Silichhong peak which is a breathtaking bird's eye view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Lhotse, Mera Peak, Mt. Chamlamg, Mt. Number, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Chalachuli and Mt. Kanchenjunga range.
You also get an opportunity to ascertain the Arun river, which adds a new dimension to those attractions.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Diktel Bazar (1,650 m / 5,413 ft)

Day 04: Trek Diktel to Chakhewa Village (2,300 m / 7,545 ft)

Day 05: Trek Chakhewa to Dhotre (2,752 m / 9,028 ft)

Day 06: Trek Dhotre  to Maiyum (3,122 m / 10,242 ft)

Day 07: Trek maiyum to Rawadhap (3,426 m / 11,240 ft)

Day 08: Trek Rawadhap to Salpa Bhanjyang (3,348 m / 10,984 ft)

Day 09: Explore Silichong Hill (4,200 m / 13,780 ft) to Sanam (2,850 m / 9,350 ft)

Day 10: Trek Sanam to Bung (1,900 m / 6,234 ft)

Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu

Day 12: Departure to your country
